The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) retained Olu & Company to develop and execute a crisis communications plan and media relations strategy to support the museum’s reputation. Olu & Company sought to position the museum as a community-aligned, human-centered, values-focused and anti-racist institution, helping MOCAD improve its image and take steps toward becoming a museum of the 21st century. Olu also manages media relations for MOCAD’s exhibition program. We have secured 123 pieces of coverage to date, including in Artforum, Art in America, The Brooklyn Rail and more, with an online readership of 84.6 million.
